For the seats, I used a roll of ’70s vintage OEM BMW cloth material. I like the look compared to the standard vinyl; it’s correct factory stuff and is comfortable and durable. Looks good with the Fjord blue exterior as well.
Taken to bare metal and resprayed, then onto the lift where the subframes are removed, and the pan cleaned and undercoated. Pix show the process in the current state. The car is now in need of interior–can pick the color and type–and installation of glass, trim, and bumpers.
Out of the rafters and onto the ground. Am going to complete the build on this one with a nifty BMW OEM cloth interior and blue carpet and panels. It should be ready in a few weeks.
