This is a great little tii we found locally not too long ago. 1972 black plenum tube, a number matched the car. The condition of the original interior and all other signs lead us to believe the 75k on the odometer is true. Car was born in Agave green, painted Malaga, and subsequently a faded Anthracite. This makes for a great patina.
While the look is great, the body needed some help. Having spent some time on the east coast, there was some rust in the pan, one frame rail, rear fender arch, and a couple of other spots. This was all fixed properly. We also filled the US side marker light holes before touching up. Otherwise, she’s straight and unwhacked.
She’s now fully mechanically sorted and runs and drives well. The underpinnings have been all redone. Diff and trans have been resealed as well as complete suspension and brakes. A few more things will be sorted as she gets ‘fettled.’ We took a light touch with this one as it’s a car to drive as is and will be amazing to restore down the road.
Currently living a new life in sin city. I was sad to see this one go, but she’s got a good home.
